Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba

The hotel location is great! can connect to Narita / Haneda airport easy. this area is mainly office building and residential. have lot of food option and Lawson is near by the hotel as well as starbucks. we book the twin room on the 10 floors, it is clean and have all the amenity. the hotel is small but have washing machine/dryer , microwave and water vending machine at the lobby , which is great. if checking in/out early can keep bag at the reception. the reception also can speak English. hotel is walking distance to the Tokyo tower.

Excellent customer service. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Great location for access to eastern side of Tokyo. Close to Zojo-ji Temple, Hamamatsucho and Daimon stations (so easy access to Tokyo and Haneda airport), walking distance to Takeshiba station and the ride on the driverless train was fun especially from the front of the train. Nearby is Odaiba, Asakusa, Rainbow Bridge, Teamlab Planets. Also Hokusai museum and Ryogoku (walk, train or ferry). Stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out (same day). No breakfast available in the hotel but there's a Starbucks downstairs and a Family Mart across the road for snacks. I believe there's a microwave available in the hotel if you need to heat food. Our room was cosy but comfortable enough for a night and had all the facilities we needed. Also found a great little eating place nearby "Azabujuban Yakuzen Curry". Delicious and healthy food, caters to all diets including vegetarians & vegans, interesting bar, best pickles we have ever had in Japan!

Great location - 7minutes walk from Hamamatsu station (easy access to Haneda) & 5 minutes from Daimon station - giving easy access to areas of Tokyo. Tokyo tower is just 10 minutes walk away. Friendly welcoming staff - we arrived early & left luggage, on our return it was placed in our room. Room was spacious (we booked a bigger room) had TV, kettle, fridge, toiletries.

Lovely receptionists and amazing location - we stayed here for the end of our trip as the journey from this hotel to Tokyo Haneda airport is direct on either the Asakusa line or Tokyo Monorail and takes about 30 minutes. The hotel area is so nice - lots of restaurants and shops nearby but still quiet at night. The room is a bit small but this is normal in Japan. We managed fine with 2 large staircases and a small one.

The location is fantastic, you get to see Tokyo Tower as soon as you walk out. It's beautiful at night! The hotel is also surrounded by good restaurants all the way down the street, even past the station. Which is about a 3-5 minute walk. It's so convenient to be close to a JR line that can take you through most of Tokyo! It's a business hotel but so handy and easy to get too, plus value for money!!
